Can I get a same-day appointment?

Depending on appointment availability and type of visit needed, the answer is YES!

Will my insurance cover my visit?

We currently accept the following: First Choice Health Plans, Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, Any Blue Cross PPO plans, Providence, Moda, United Health, Aetna, PacificSource along with many other smaller insurance companies. 

We do not accept community solutions/ohp/medicaid, medicare, or tri-care west at this time. 

All first time, new patient visits cost slightly more than established patient visits, as typical of any practice. 


The patient always has responsibility of covering whatever insurance does not cover.

What if I don't have insurance?

We offer a discounted direct cash payment option for those without insurance. Fees for service will be dependent upon type of visit and complexity, as well as any procedures that may be needed. 

Discount labs are also available "at cost" to cash-paying patients. 

What if I live out-of-state?

Our office is located in SW Bend behind Croutons on SW Century Drive. 

We are able to provide in-person visits or telehealth visits to residents of Oregon and Washington at this time.

Why is there a different cost for new or established patients?


To provide safe effective care, new patients require a comprehensive review of medical history.  This allows us to provide the best care possible for you.

What do I need to do to qualify for discount cash pricing?


You must agree to not submit the bill to your insurance carrier.  Healing Roots also agrees to not bill your insurance.  Additionally, to qualify for discount cash pricing your bill must be paid in full 10 days from the date of service.
