About the event
Join Havilah Brodhead, FNP, owner of Hearthside Medicine Family Care and mom of two little ones, for an educational, interactive, and fun morning learning about medicine!
Some of our many activities will include:
Learning how the heart pumps blood (yes, we will make our own FAKE blood and pump it!)
Identifying bones with hands-on games and Sally the Skeleton
Splinting (pretend) broken bones and putting on casts (and coloring them!)
Exploring heart sounds and heart rhythms with stethoscopes and EKG machines
